| Introduction | I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland and Head of Education at IRIS Connect. For fifteen years prior to that, I was an English teacher and middle and senior leader. I facilitate the ECF and NPQLTD and speak at hundreds of schools a year. I have written three books: 'Preserving Positivity' 'Mentoring in Schools' and 'Humans in the Classroom' and have 3 more books due out this year.
