| Interests | My research interests lie mainly in the fields of conservation genetics, phylogenetics, phylogeography and population genetics. I am particularly interested in studying the evolutionary genetics of interesting and enigmatic animals that are not well researched. I would like to expand my research to include other factors that influence the evolution of a species, such as landscape genetics, ecology and evolutionary biology. For example, I am very interested in the link between a species' reproductive biology and its population genetics, i.e. the way mating systems influence populations. |
