Introduction Dedicated to perpetuating the names and achievements of those pioneer men, women, and children who founded Morgan County in the Utah Territory. To this end we have been collecting histories, photographs of early pioneers, and artifacts for many years. These pictures and artifacts are available for the public to view in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum located in Morgan, Utah. What is a Utah Pioneer? • Anyone who entered the Utah Territory before the completion of the railroad on 10 May 1869, or died on the way. • A native pioneer is someone who was born in Utah before 10 May 1869. Local chapters of this society for women are organized into “Camps” and Camps into “Companies” The Morgan Utah Company has 6 active Camps: Hardscrabble, Peterson Creek, Mount Joy, South Morgan, Mountain View, and Weber River Each camp holds monthly meetings from September through May.
