Location	Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Introduction	I am a landscape designer working in Wauwatosa, WI at Hawks Nursery Co. I've been a designer at Hawks for about 4 years now. I graduated in 2006 receiving a Bachelor's degree from Concordia University Wisconsin in Environmental Studies with a minor in Landscape Horticulture. I orginally went to CUW for athletic training, but I had to follow my heart... I love gardening (thanks to my parents for their influence) and art. Landscape Design seemed to be the perfect fit for me! I was able to create an individualized major and minor at CUW tailored towards my goal of becoming a landscape designer. I attended MATC for the landscape horticulture credits through the co-op that CUW has with them. I love the variety and satisfaction this job provides me. It's great to see a renovation through to completion and realize the difference it made! The clients I meet and yards I encounter really keeps the job exciting! Through this blog I hope to relate some of my design projects and garden related ideas to you in your own home. Maybe something you see here may inspire you to make a change in your own yard!
