| Introduction | I am Jessica Afia Debrah an IP Administrator and law student based in Accra, Ghana, with a sharp focus on trademark law, copyright, and brand enforcement. I currently lead trademark matters at the firm I work, where a single case sparked what quickly became a full-blown passion for intellectual property. Since then, I have been building my expertise one filing, one classification, and one infringement battle at a time. When I am not decoding legal frameworks or mapping out brand protection strategies, I am thinking about the way brands are born, evolve, and sometimes get copied. This blog is an extension of that obsession. It is a space dedicated to educating, informing, and bringing visibility to the IP conversation across Africa and beyond. I believe that everything and everyone is a brand. My mantra? Be distinct. Be memorable. Protect it. |
