| Introduction | I have lived in the Maple Cross area for much of my life and have been a keen birdwatcher for some thirty or so years. I regularly visit Maple Lodge Nature Reserve, Lynsters Farm & Woodoaks Farm where I have seen many interesting species.I conduct Wetland Bird Survey Counts (WeBS) at Stockers & Bury Lake, Troy Mill Gravel Pit, North Troy Gravel Pit, Helicon/Pynesfield Gravel Pits and Lynsters Gravel Pit and I am the bird recorder for Maple Lodge Conservation Society.
