| Introduction | Born and reared in East New York Section of Brooklyn where crimes are daily and poverty is a common place, however it made for great commentary, laughter and strength through struggle and sacrifice. Writing has always been near and dear to my heart, I have finally begun accepting it as a gift and not a hobby, hence the name Dwritewell, which are my initials and what I seek to do daily, write well. Educated in Brooklyn during my informative years, where I was taught to deal with the hard knock life of New York City, thus surviving my block and/or neighborhood. Graduating with an A.A.S, Honors B.A from the College of New Rochelle, and Metropolitan College of New YOrk with a Master in Public Administration & Policy with a focus on Strategic Planning & Grant Writing. |

Hit myself upside the head with the movie before screening, so I can remain humble by the big speed bump...lol...you stay true to who you are and remember when nobody was giving you any attention, and that should keep me humble.
