Introduction	I am a birder, a parent and a birding parent. I have two children, henceforth known as THE SON and THE DAUGHTER. My current Life List stands at 514. Most of my birding takes place around Toronto. Birding with kids has its challenges. Anyone who has raised binoculars to spot his life Hooded Warbler, while simultaneously keeping a three year old from becoming entangled in a thorn bush will tell you that. However, it is also very rewarding when your daughter can recognize a red-winged blackbird by its call or your son throws a fit because we have to leave an owl to go home for supper.
