Introduction I am preparing to retire from the Air Force in San Antonio and begin a corporate career in N. Houston area. I am currently finishing an MA in Christian Leadership at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary but am not entering the "vocational" ministry. My education is useful for serving the church and for spiritual growth, plus the leadership skills will be useful in my fulltime ministry in corporate America. I am redeemed by the finished work of Jesus Christ crucified and resurrected.
Interests Theology, Politics, Culture, and a few other things.
Favorite Movies I'm a Lord of the Rings fan and I love good dramas like Babel, Bay of Love and Sorrow, The Shipping News, Gran Torino, and many others. I like independent and foreign films. I don't like "romantic comedies" at all and I hate serial killer films. I like a good sci-fi flick like the Abyss and a few action/adventures and I LOVE historical dramas despite their largely inacurate protrayal of actual events. I don't watch television AT ALL for any reason whatsoever. Who needs it when the news is free online?
Favorite Music Don't like death metal, rap, pop/mainstream, contemporary Christian music (with a few exceptions...hey I'm being honest here), but I like pretty much everything else, including classical, opera, Nightwish, Celtic tunes, classic Christian hymns, soundtrack tunes, easy listening/light, and even Rasta!
Favorite Books Holy Bible and many, many classics. I don't read alot of modern books, especially fiction (except the PERN series). I love classic fictions, I got my BA in English Literature. I also read the PERN series (not so modern Ski Fi although Ann McCaffery is still putting out new books) when I have the chance, which is not often these days.
