| Introduction | My passion is fabric. I love sewing and quilting. The women in my family have always sewn. I've been influenced by my mom and my aunts on both sides of the family and my sister, the artistic one. My icon is a picture of a little teddy bear doll that was given to me when I was 4. It was hand sewn by one of my aunts. I remember my mom making beautiful ball gowns for my barbie dolls. I loved them and wish I still had them to admire. My love affair with fabric has been a constant in my life. Show me an ugly fabric and I will adopt it and make it my challenge to surround it with the perfect fabrics to make it shine. |
