| Introduction | I was blessed to have parents that had me baptized as an infant and I've been a Christian ever since. I received a BA in psychology from San Diego State University and a M.Div from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. My wife is Kitty. My Children are Isaiah and Rachel. Isaiah is married to Athena and Rachel is married to Phillip. My Grandchildren are Dixie, Gregory, William, Ara, and Isaiah II. We moved to Spartanburg August 4, 1998. (By-the-way, I'm not 1955 years old, no matter what it says in my "complete profile.") |
| Interests | Theology, history, music |
| Favorite movies | I guess my favorite movies would be "Singing in the Rain" and "My Fair Lady." Wouldn't it be great if - in heaven - life had a soundtrack and people just burst into song every now and then? |
| Favorite music | Traditional Church Hymns like "A Mighty Fortress" "I Come Oh Savior to Thy Table" and "Lift High the Cross." I also like:, Rock, Folk, Classical, Jazz, Blues, American Standards, many songs from Musicals |
| Favorite books | The Bible - DUH!, Just about anything Martin Luther wrote., I also love the Early Church Fathers. They had a great way of looking at things., Three contemporary books I've truly enjoyed are:, How Christianity Changed the world by Alvin Schmidt, Just Words by JAO Preus, the spirituality of the cross by Gene Veith Jr. |
