Introduction	I am an expatriate Olde Farte from England. My wife, Joy, and I came to the United States in January 1968 and have loved it ever since. I went to an aeronautical college in England and, apart from a couple of years in the British army and a couple of years in the electronic industry, I have worked in the aircraft industry all my life until I retired in 1994.We retired to the Palm Springs area in 2000 and enjoy living in the sun. The reason for the title of the blog is that, my family and a few other young people know me as "Pop". If you want to read a question mark at the end of the title, that's OK too. To the same crew, Joy is known as "Nana".
