| Introduction | I served four years in the Navy during the Viet Nam war, trained as an Electronic Technician, and visited nearly a dozen countries. Later in College I traveled with “Up With People” as a High School tutor and a performer. Although I earned a Masters Degree in Education, I never saw myself as a writer. I nearly failed High School English, but excelled in Math and Science. I enjoyed two years of teaching but when this private school failed for financial reasons, I felt challenged to learn business. I bought a gift and jewelry store across from the ocean in Laguna Beach that evolved into a boutique. Later I became a Real Estate Broker selling business opportunities in the Laguna Beach area. Eventually I bought an ice business – added dry ice – and started an award winning web site about dry ice. I have designed and written over a dozen informative business web sites. I am now working as a writer using my expierences in the dry ice business to help others. |
