| Introduction | Australian Mum, loving life, loving my family. Feeling my way along on this journey called Life and learning from every step. I also happen to have achondroplasia - the most common form of dwarfism. Life at this level is no different...I laugh, I love, I get sad, I eat, I sleep, I work, I clean my house, I go shopping. It's just that I do it at the height of an average 7 year old. No big deal. The only time I know I'm different is when people point it out to me. "How's the weather down there?" "At least you didn't have far to fall!" "Can you please pick that up? You're closer to the ground than me." I've heard all these before. That's not what Life At My Level is about. Living down here is the same as up there....pretty much.....just a slightly different perspective.... Welcome to my life. |
