Introduction My name is Helen and I am a young woman living with the condition known as Albinism with a rare complication of Hermansky Pudlak Syndrome (HPS). Now in my early 40s I have been making several positive lifestyle changes, reduced my body weight by loosing over 13 stone over 15 months and become completely addicted to a health and fitness enhanced way of life. Very proud mother of six young people: four sons ages 23, 22, 11 and 5 and two beautiful daughters ages 16 and 13; home educator of 15 years; advocate of autonomous natural learning experiences, inspiring creativity and embracing nature; totally committed to health and fitness lifestyle changes, life long knitter, indie fibre and yarn dyer, hand-spinner, loom knitting designer, photographer and multi media artist; existing outside of materialism through recycled living, community currencies and low cost family life, committed to celebrating our unique differences through developing our family culture and creative expression in all its amazing challenges.
