| Introduction | If you have randomly found this page, you will be able to read the beginning of this story at www.caringbridge.org/visit/steveashbrook. I have been asked why I'm blogging all of this. I realized early in this whole grieving process that there is no limit to how many times in one day that I will break down and how many times I will re-question everything. I noticed that if I could talk it out, I would start to get a grip, even if the grip only lasted a few minutes. Everyone else has a 3 day bereavement period and then they had to get back to their life. There is not someone standing in front of me 24/7 to listen to me over and over again. This is not the typical me, I don't generally let people know how I feel. But, for some reason this helps, even if just for the few minutes it takes to write it out. |
