| Introduction | I cannot remember a time when art and creativity was not a part of my existence. I've always felt the need to express myself through some form of art, whether it be with words, drawings, paintings, crafts, decorating something or photos. And for the past 10 years, scrapbooking and cardmaking as a way to integrate my photography and crafty skills. The biggest testament to this is probably my home. I even created an Xbox 360 inspired room for my sons' weights, drums and guitars. Inspiration comes from wherever and takes on it's own form. I currently live in NC with my RN (ER)husband and two teenage sons. I have been a fulltime mom along with an 8 year stint of owning my own medical transcription business before homeschooling my sons for 4 and 5 years while my husband was a travel nurse. Our travels with him included a year's stay in Orlando, FL. That was the longest vacation I have ever had with tons of photos and memories! Now with my sons a senior and junior in public high school, I have been JUST a mom for the past two years. While determining my next chapter, I am enjoying my time creating and blogging. |
