Introduction	My Clark Kent gig is as a poverty economist for the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management unit in the Africa Region of the World Bank, where I do my damnedest to harness the full power of econometric analysis to eliminate global poverty. Prior to joining a large multilateral lending institution in 2007, I have been a student in the Masters in Public Administration in International Development program at the Harvard Kennedy School, a Peace Corps volunteer in Burkina Faso, a Fulbright Scholar in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, an unlicensed insurance claims adjustor on Long Island, and a semi-pro backpacker. Let me also add that the views expressed in this blog should in no way be seen as representing my employer, my country, or, if you are in any way considering legal action, of myself at all.
