About me

Introduction	My work often has a political and social message, I like my work to have a certain ambiguity about it and to spark curiosity within the viewer rather than just concerning myself with aesthetics. I have a keen interest in current issues and women’s struggle for equality throughout history. I am drawn to controversial art work; some of my favourite artists include, Sarah Lucas, Tracy Emin and Cindy Sherman. I am interested in this Fine Art course because of my genuine enthusiasm and enjoyment for art. I believe myself to be a naturally creative person and hope on completion of my degree to continue onto do a PGCE and become a secondary school art teacher to continue the practice of art and inspire others as I have been inspired.
