| Introduction | As a child I'd always believed I was destined to live in a castle...but hadn't really reckoned with it coming true, or if it did, having to wait until I was 41 for it to happen! But happen it has... This is an attempt to describe the sensation of being captured by something quite beyond my experience. Something way outside any comfort zone I've managed painfully to cobble together in the past. It's about the joys, anxieties and wonders of being part of a tiny island; and of course, what it's like to live in a big pink castle! |
