Introduction	City born and country living. We live in a farmhouse on 10 acres and have horses, dogs and chickens. I'm a mom, step-mom and grandmother to four with twins on the way. I love my family, friends and wine from our very own Shawnee Hills wine trail here in southern Illinois. No, we don't own it. We just drink it. Favorite winery's are Von Jacobs and Alto Vineyards. If you ever come to southern Illinois you have to visit the wine trail. In 2010 my husband bought our first horse. I just love that man! She's a beautiful Haflinger mare named Meika. My blogs are about her and our training, etc. We also have a 3 year old paint named Jade plus 2 boarder horses. I also dabble in my family genealogy. Every now and then I will find something I think interesting and will blog about it. Feel free to leave me a comment. I'll do my best to get back to you. Thanks
