Introduction	I was raised in a small town on the Columbia River in Washington state. I went to College and met my husband. We've been married for 51 years and have one daughter, who is now married. We live in the San Diego area. We ended up here because my husband was in the Navy for 26 years and we were stationed here several times. We decided to stay here when he retired. I worked in banking many years, but when I was 50 I changed careers and became a travel agent for 14 years. I worked for AAA. I'm now retired and travel is still my passion. We had 2 mini schnauzers, Baxter and Sadie, who traveled with us in the states. They passed away in 2017. We went a year without a dog, which I wrote about. We traveled a lot during that year. But this year we adopted Mac, a terrier mix. He hasn't traveled with us yet, but we plan to take him to Washington this next summer. And we will take some trips here in the area with him. He will become our travel partner soon.
