| Introduction | I'm a fair-weather sailor who far prefers a tack that won't upset the cocktails to one that sends the contents of my salon tumbling ass-over-teakettle. We've moored our luvly Hunter 290, SV Smitten, in Monroe Harbor for eight summers. During our sixth summer, I started blogging about life on Chicago's crazy, noisy, busy, cultured, musical, ecstatic, orgasmic summer lakefront. In early 2010, we became accidental transplantees to New York City. Smitten will transition to the East Coast over the winter. She'll have a brand new home next summer on City Island in the Bronx. The only constant is change, right? Please come along! |
