Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
Even were I some (more extreme) mutation, mixed up by genius and lunacy with a frog, I wouldn't cover that transformed neck & thereafter would produce an oink more mutant hiccup when leaping out of mud, executing pirouettes at nearly sunflower height when a truffle is snagged with a tongue as long and curled as my pig tail. The wind would be an invisible alien pig tail looping & buffing my neck.
