| Introduction | I'm a mom of three teenage girls. A wife of 20 years. Love to learn. Love to read. Love the challenge of raising girls. I asked advice from many ladies along the way. Am so aware of the culture's low standards for women....decided it would take something very intentional to combat this in order to raise my own to be different from what the culture emanates. For years I've held fun gatherings for girls, with the help of many great moms, to teach life issues in a casual setting. Healthy relationships, mean girl drama, manners, identity, spirituality, boys, dating, sex, life goals. It IS possible to raise healthy girls, ready for life. I know many such girls! It takes intentionality. Adults who care. We moms need each other for support, not for competition. Let's join together to help raise a healthy generation of girls. |
