Introduction	I'm a thirty-something professional who a) fled a far too frenetic work-life at a major search engine in Silicon Valley for a more low-key existence in scholarly publishing, b) had a baby, fleeing scholarly publishing altogether for a temporary stint as a full-time mom, and then c) returned to scholarly publishing yet again, as the purist form of torture (have I lost my mind, or what?!).
