| Introduction | I've been a jewelry designer it seems like forever, with jewelry lessons at 16 years old and a majored in jewelry and metalsmithing at the Maine College of Art. I love teaching and creating more than anything else. You can see my handmade jewelry work & paintings at the Art Gallery at the "NEW" Scala Art Center. I also teach a number of jewelry and kids classes there. As I grew up in the antiques business, you will see the vintage elements in my work I do this to recycle and honor the past. I love all that is Art! This is why I opened the Scala Art Center to share my love of art and the process with others. We have a large variety of classes as well as the Artist Success Circle, a networking and support group. We are creating a place for the community to feel welcome and be creative. With the support of my great husband, I have been able to do what I love! Welcome to:LisaScala.com ScalaArtCenter.com |
