He took a sabbatical from practicing medicine for over a year in 2002 and traveled to Australia to immerse himself in the studies of the Buddhist Religion. He returned to San Antonio teach and promote the Buddhist Philosophy and also reopened his medical practice to continue to treat his patients. |
