Introduction	Single Graduated from CSU,Chico with a BA in English in 1992, and received my masters there in 1999. Spanish is my second language. My dog is Baku, who is a very gentle and rather stoic Jindo and Shar Pei cross. He'll be 5 on Valentine's Day 2008, or so we guess. He's a rescue from the shelter in San Luis Obispo. I have four grown children--3 men and 1 woman, and four growing grandchildren.

Favorite movies	My newest favorite is Across the Universe (thanks Robbie for the recommendation). I'm quite fond of Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals. I think Evita is my favorite.
Favorite music	It's impossible to pick a favorite. I like a broad range from folk to classical.
Favorite books	This is as hard to answer as favorite music. Non-fiction biographies, John LeCarre novels, Milan Kundera's work, poetry by Maya Angelou, WB Yeats, Leslie Marmon Silko, the philosophy of J. Krishnamurti, Joseph Campbell, Don Miguel Ruiz, the psychology of Carl Jung, and mucho mas.
