Introduction	I am a passionate citizen of Southern California, and a lover of music, culture, and other such subjects. I try to stay active in the Los Angeles community by involving myself with various projects, from record labels to publications. I also DJ and produce music. My studies at UCI have directed me to a strong knowledge in hip-hop culture, language, politics, and music, as well as larger social issues dealing with racism, policing, and our government. I have decided to use my passion to create this blog, Hoppolitix, to use as a platform discussing anything related to the above...from posting events, to music reviews, to political and social discourse.
