| Introduction | Hello, Kathleen here. When my son Dennis and I first moved onto the property we are purchasing, there were 7 abandoned dogs that were very very timid, and thin. They apparently were fearful and hungry..We did not have funds so we turned to our friends on Facebook and they helped raise funds to put up fencing. Eventually, after months of feeding and coaxing the dogs, we were able to get them fenced in. One of the dogs was pregnant. She had 5 pups. Eventually we found homes for the momma and a little girl pup. Sadly 1 of the desert dogs left before we could fence him in and he never came back. And another one, who we did get fenced later died of unknown causes. We now have 7 dogs total as 2 of our original dogs that we had with us when we arrived have passed on. Dennis makes beautiful cold forged wire wrapped pendants and I am retired due to health issues. We both like to paint and write and create. |
