| Introduction | I'm an author and licensed psychotherapeutic social worker who coaches the food allergic community and asthmatic community as well as consults food service organizations on food allergy management. Email me for more information or a consultation. I've been severely allergic to tree-nuts since age 2 and salmon since I ate my first bagel with lox. Less severe food allergies include: eggplant, some types of melons and several tropical fruits. I've had environmental allergies and allergic asthma (now in remission) since I was four years old. Since May 2005, due to some suspected food intolerances, I've maintained a wheat-free, white sugar-free, low lactose, low soy, low processed food-free lifestyle - organic/local/sustainable whenever possible. |
