Introduction	I teach first grade in Tennessee. I have been teaching fourteen years...eleven years in first grade. I love seaching for new ideas to use in my home and classroom and creating teaching materials on the computer. I also LOVE polka dots and safari prints. I'm always on the lookout for cute items I can use in my classroom. Hopefully this blog will allow me to share some ideas with a fun and creative flair!
Interests	Reading, crafting, going bargain shopping, making things on the computer, watching movies
Favorite movies	Romantic comedies - Two Weeks, The Proposal, The Holiday, but my all time favorite is "It's a Wonderful Life". I love movies that leave me feeling good at the end. I'm so sappy! :)
Favorite music	Christian Contemporary - I love K-LOVE!
Favorite books	Anything by Southern authors - Jeanne Ray, Mary Kay Andrews, Dorthea Benton Frank, etc. I love the Mitford series but I'm also pretty eclectic in what I will read.
