Introduction	Parul Gupta has written stories for the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, articles for newspapers and magazines and various other publications. Currently, she is writing a weekly column 'Delhi Beat' as well as other stories for the writers' website 'Unboxed Writers' (www.unboxedwriters.com). An alumnus of Delhi School of Economics and formerly a journalist, feature writer and editorial analyst with the Observer Group, she writes both fiction and non fiction, from research analyses and reports to short stories, opinion pieces and articles on topics ranging from gender issues to food to spirituality and occult sciences. In her capacity as editor and research analyst she has worked with various NGOs, on documents pertaining to international agencies such as UNICEF, WHO, Handicap International, DNIDA, UNAIDS, UNDP, CENTAD, ADB and CARE, as well as various state governments and ministries.
