| Introduction | I was born and grew up in Afton, Wyoming and lived there until I graduated from high school. I had a large family growing up - five brothers and three sisters. I went to college at Brigham Young University and then served a mission for my church in Germany. I married a man I loved with all my heart and we had six wonderful children together - two sons and four daughters. Time passed. Life happened. Things changed. I left the religion of my youth and became a Humanist. My children grew up and all but one have left the nest. I got pushed out of the nest myself and, whereas before I was basically a stay at home mom, now I am an Outpatient Services Specialist at a hospital in the area. I am a single mom -- the proudest ever. Out of all the people I have met in the world, both old and young, my own children are THE BEST ONES. |
