| Introduction | I love RMNP! I love the smell of the mountains and the sound of the river and pine, especially at night. I love camping, hiking, watching the hummingbirds and cooking outdoors. My favorite season is fall...nothing better than watching elk. Armed with my thermos of coffee, binoculars and camera, I'll watch nature till past dark...it's the best show on earth! I became a Buddhist in 2008. My Buddhist practice has helped to make my life rich...to be "present" for all this life offers. Between retirement (retired in 2009) and Buddhism, it seems that my activities and chores are more enjoyable. I try to be mindful while I do them... Buddhism is the calm in my life, the foundation upon which I start each day. Meditation...it's a good thing...ommmmm |
