Introduction	USSR, 1976 - my mom and dad received a brand new , fresh off the press cook book as a wedding gift. Several month later I was born. In just about year and a half this cook book had become my first and favorite picture book. It was "Книга о Вкусной и Здоровой Пище", 1976 ("book of delicious and healthy food"). In 1988 I cooked my first soup by the recipe from this same book. It was a fish soup for which I used fish, that my mom kept in the freezer for our cat. Everyone in the family loved this soup. Poor cat didn't get to try any of it. This is to say how I became a happy citizen of the Foodieland.
