Introduction	I am a vintage loving wife, mother, and lady. Just a simple country woman that attends a quaint little white church. I am married to "the milkman." I have 3 children whom I adore and work hard to make a warm and cozy home. We live in a town that was once called Hopewell in the early to mid 1800s. That's where I got my blog name from.
Interests	country living, everything vintage, history especially American history, sewing, gardening, canning, quilting, crocheting, embroidery, homeschooling, horses, nature, cooking, reading, cross-stitch, primitives, decorating, EVERYTHING VINTAGE
Favorite movies	I love a lot of movies, A few that come to mind at the moment are, To Kill a Mockingbird, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Man in the Moon, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman shows, Little House on the Prarie, Andy Griffith.
Favorite music	I like just about any music, everything from the 1920's to the 1950's, the Rat Pack era, Frank Sinatra, instrumental music, "country" music, opera, etc.
Favorite books	Many books, Laura Ingalls Wilder's books, To Kill a Mockingbird, Weeping Willow, Huckleberry Finn, Aesop's Fables, The Little Engine that Could, Town Mouse Country Mouse, Biblical stories, etc.
