Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
It is easy to see that forks and spoons are closely genetically related, with 97% of their DNA in common (spoons also share 70% of DNA with biros). Scientists now believe that the fork evolved from the spoon over millenia, as the spoons with pointier ends were less likely to be lost because it hurt to tread on them. They survived to breed, and we end up with the forks we know today.
