Introduction	Hi, my name is Lori. I started this blog when I turned 50 as a sort of alternative to all of the "Mommy" blogs I'd been seeing. I live in Northern Michigan on the shores of Lake Huron. Some of the things I enjoy are reading, movies, documentaries, Geocaching, travel, crossing items off my Bucket List, and hunting for bargains and freebies. I have an open mind and love trying new things and new foods. I often mention products that I'm enamored of at the moment. Hot News Flash! I recently entered the 21st Century by purchasing a smartphone. I now have apps - I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.
