| Introduction | I was born and bred in the beautiful state of Michigan but am just a crumb in South Carolina. I have the attention span of a Labrador Retriever, due to a bit of ADD; I suffer from insomnia, CRS, FTD, LTD and a touch of Asperger's Syndrome, but I'm highly functional and really totally normal. Or at least I appear to be as most people think I am or maybe they are just being polite. Where was I? Oh, I am an English Major at the University of South Carolina and work full time. I would rather write than eat, eat rather than sleep, sleep rather than go to work, and go to work rather than babysit toddlers. I have been in a mixed marriage for over 30 years - my long suffering spouse Dan, was born and raised in the South, while I am from up north. Together we raised three children and every pet we ever had ran away, eventually. I am young enough to appreciate and mature enough to believe that some things are just better aged; whiskey, cheese, men, 401Ks, wine, to name a few. At this point in my life, I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. |
