| Introduction | I have always enjoyed the art of writing. In college I studied creative writing and always remembered the number 1 rule "write what you know. "Beauty is an ugly business is what I lightheartedly referred to as the title of my autobiography, should I ever write one. I felt it should include stories not only from my career in hairstyling but from my colorful upbringing as well. Being a hairstylist for over 30 years, I've been witness to many strange and wonderful experiences, and with the encouragement of friends and family, decided to write them down. My sense of humor is what I feel best defines me in these stories as well as my "brutal honesty" or so I've been told. |
