Interests I, of course, love watching, writing, directing and acting in films. But I don't just live and breathe films. I also love improv theatre, stand up comedy, shopping, sewing my own clothes, baking and cooking.
Favorite Movies "What is your favorite movie?" and "Who is your favorite director?" are questions that always pop up in conversation when I reveal my ambition to become a film director. Although it's hard to narrow it down to just one movie, "It Happened One Night", the original romantic comedy, directed by one of my favorite directors, Frank Capra, always appears on my list. Preston Sturges' "The Lady Eve" also is one of my recently discovered favorite films and by one of my new favorite directors. "Match Point" from another one of my favorite directors, Woody Allen, and "Catch Me If You Can" were important in inspiring me to become a filmmaker. I also love the film "Hot Rod" but rarely list it in fear that people will wonder how I ever got into film school if I like that movie.
