| Introduction | The SIHFW library is situated on the second floor of the main building of State Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Haryana. Library houses a collection of medical books, journals, newspapers, newsletters, reference books, training modules & non-book material. Library is also equipped with computerized database with the help of library software (e-granthalaya) to maintain library collection and to provide better service to its members. Library also provides free access and internet browsing facility through Wi-Fi. The various services provided to its members are Current Awareness Services (CAS), Press Clipping Service (PCS), Request a purchase service, display of information, reference service, Ask the Librarian and Library Blog. Library provides these services through e-mail, WhatsApp, library blog & website. SIHFW library mainly caters to the needs of trainers, trainees, SIHFW faculty, Civil Hospital staff, Officers from Director General Health Services office, NHM office and paramedical staff members of Govt. of Haryana. |
