Introduction	Born in California, raised in Kentucky, and schooled in Michigan and New York, Emily Henry is a young-adult writer of young-adult books. She lives in Cincinnati with a miniature schnauzer, an american bulldog, a great dane, and some humans, all of whom love bacon and hate brushing their hair equally. Aside from fantasy writing and food, her interests include sprinting through Richard Serra's Torqued Ellipses, rolling down hills, and wearing crushed velvet.
