| Introduction | Tom Cheesewright is a technology industry consultant and commentator. Working with top-ten tech marketing agency Noiseworks, and leading Manchester-based digital marketing consultancy The Lever, he has advised start-ups, UK companies and global brands on marketing and communications strategy since 2000. In addition to Book of the Future, Tom is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Manchester, and local TV station Channel M, commenting on issues, reviewing gadgets, and advising on the latest devices and services. He has contributed articles (bylined to various clients) to a wide variety of technology industry magazines on topics such as Voice over IP; mobile handsets, software and content; next-generation networks; and IT operations. Tom has a degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Lancaster University, and a general aptitude for all things geeky. He is however, useless at coding, and has a terrible sense of direction. |
