| Introduction | I am a 29 year old professional poker player and poker instructor from Richmond, VA. I have been playing the game seriously for approximately 6 years now and began playing heads up poker in March, 2007. I played under the name HokieGreg HU on Stars and HokieGreg on Full Tilt. I am now a sponsored Lock Pro Elite on Lock Poker at Revolution Gaming, playing under the username: HokieGreg. I am a video instructor for husng.com. I do a lot of private coaching, as well. I graduated in 2005 with a B.A. from Virginia Tech in History. I then went on to graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University to get my master's in teaching in high school history. A semester before finishing my program, I decided to take a year off and give poker a shot as a career. Poker had been going well for a while at that point, and I wanted to give it a real shot before making the huge time commitment of teaching high school. Fortunately, things went well that year, and continuing to play poker for a living seemed the best decision to me. |
