Introduction	Recently retired as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher, I love maintaining a relationship with my former students mainly through Facebook. This blog is a response to requests for the food lab recipes I have done for years. If I can be a help to young families in this manner, it gives me a great sense of joy. I am a passionate quilter, also. This blog gives me a place to keep a visual record of some of my quilts. I was born to be a teacher. You can take the teacher out of the classroom, but not the classroom out of the teacher. I will also be sharing some quilting tips and techniques that I find particularly helpful. I am a "jack of all trades, a master of none" so, believe me I am not setting myself up as an expert. I find joy in connecting with people in a positive, encouraging way!
