Introduction | Jody-Lynn Reicher, now married to her husband since 1984; they have two children, she served in the Marines in the early 1980's, worked in corporate accounting and financial areas for ten years before opening up her massage therapy practice. She teaches Self-Defense primarily to teenage girls and women. She holds the North American Women's 24 Hour Record, set in May 2005. Jody-Lynn has been running (32+ years competitive) since 1976; began ultra distances 2001. She became a fighter just days before her 48th birthday, went pro in Mixed Martial Arts at age 50. She now trains at the YESS Barbell and Boxing Gym in New Jersey. She started with self-defense in 2008. Jody-Lynn is the author of "The Endurance Athlete's Guide to Nutrition (2006), "Reaching God's Perfection...Stories of Gratefulness" (2014), "Priceless in Changsha" (2017), "Not Exactly Don Juan...and the Liberated Woman" (2017). Jody-Lynn Reicher's fifth book, "Therapy on the Run" was published April 2018. Jody-Lynn is currently working on her sixth and seventh books, "Two Girls Talking...and God Listening In"---Book One and Book Two, and "Essential Thoughts". |
