About me

IntroductionIan Shotton, with his old school-friend James Cresswell, is embarking on the famous cycling End-to-End - the ride that is from one end of the country to the other - in this case from John O'Groats to Land's End, known colloquially as the JOGLE. This involves riding almost 1000 miles (and possibly more when we inevitably get lost) against the prevailing winds at an average of 70 odd miles per day with no rest days along the way. James and I will be setting off from John O'Groats on 14th July and if all goes well will reach Land's End on 28th July after two weeks, 950 miles and probably numerous sore body parts later. In addition to the personal challenge we are both hoping to raise a useful sum for local hospice's. I have chosen Claire House which does terrific work in our area improving the quality of life for children unfortunate to suffer from life threatening illnesses.
